CLEANING THE OCEAN-A HAPPY ENDING

Remember the previous posts about my students and me cleaning PLAYA DE LOS PESCADORES (FISHERS' BEACH) at EL MALECON in SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC?
After cleaning part of the beach, we went to Club de Profesores (Professor's Club) and had a typical Dominican Lunch, which would be a big dinner in the U.S.  We enjoyed a delicious MORO (rice and pigeon peas cooked together) and salad made by Wanda, and roast chicken.  Then we drank coke.

We do not like Dominican food, we love it!  Mmmmmmm...

Isaac sang two songs.  One of them was composed by himself. What a talent!

Remember what we found? This is what we left.

Isn't it a real paradise?

If it were not contaminated, we would have taken a swim.  If we continue working for a better planet, we will be able to.

At least, we can enjoy the view and rest here.

We can take a walk, too...

or get inspired and write some poetry. Who knows?

Now this beach is worth visiting.

PLAYA DE LOS PESCADORES is waiting for you to give her a hand once in a while.

At the end, we said, "The planet is our home!" "We have just started!"
You may ask yourselves what it is that we have started.  The answer is in all the fotos that were posted here. We are inviting you to join us and let's save the only home humanking has, THE EARTH.
